Damaging winds and large hail likely
Severe thunderstorms are detected on the weather radar near Caboolture, Petrie, and the area east of Toogoolawah. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east, forecast to affect Bribie Island and Redcliffe by 2:10pm and Brisbane City by 2:45pm.
Cold and wet conditions expected for lambs
Cold temperatures, rain and southerly winds are expected, which may cause significant losses of livestock exposed to these conditions.
Strong wind warning for coastal waters
A trough is expected to produce strong west to south-westerly winds about coastal waters from late tonight through to Thursday morning.
